Job Summary

The State Heads will play a pivotal role in leading and managing all operations and initiatives of Prayatna in Haryana.

 State Head is responsible for strategic planning, program implementation, team management, fundraising, stakeholder engagement,

 and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. 

Locations: Karnal, Haryana 

Program Management & Implementation:

·   Oversee all aspects of project design, management, and execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

·   Conduct regular monitoring activities, including coordination, reviews, and planning with local staff to track project progress effectively.

·   Coordinate with key stakeholders, including project staff, government officials, vendors, and other concerned parties to facilitate project implementation.

·   Ensure timely reporting and high-quality documentation related to assigned projects, including accurate status reports throughout their life cycles.

·   Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement tailored staff development plans to enhance team effectiveness and individual competencies.

·   Develop annual budgets in collaboration with the Finance Department, ensuring proper allocation of funds for program activities.

·   Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track program outcomes, outputs, and impact effectively.

·   Analyze data on program performance to inform decision-making, learning, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

·   Master's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Development Studies, Social Science, Management, or relevant field.

·   Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in senior management roles within the development sector, demonstrating a track record of leading successful programs and teams.

·   Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead teams towards achieving organizational goals.

·   Proficient in financial management, including budget development, financial analysis, and compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.

·   Track record of designing, implementing, and evaluating successful programs and projects, with a focus on poverty alleviation and marginalization.

·   Experience in community engagement, working with NGOs, donors, and government agencies, and conducting fieldwork at the community level.

·   Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

·   Be ready to travel up to 10-12 Days every month

Remuneration: 💰  60 - 70 k per month
